To Atlantic City we go...

I was reading Philippians yesterday, and the verse that really stuck out to me was verse 6, which says:

This week I've really been learning to surrender my fears and anxieties to the Lord, since He already has a plan for me and it's so much greater than anything I could think up.

Today is the last day of Killing the Giants week here and it's been an intense, but good week. Most of my free time was spent on the beach and the boardwalk sharing with people. It was pretty intimidating at first, but I'm slowly becoming more bold and more trusting in how God works.

Tonight is our final outreach of the week, and we are going to Atlantic City, which is about 15-20 minutes away from our lovely Ocean City. From what I've heard, the atmosphere there is pretty different from the atmosphere here, which makes it not as receptive to our efforts. Still, I'm excited to be in a new environment. Because there are so many of us on project, and this week has emphasized sharing, a lot of the people we approached have already taken the survey, which is sweet, because they've been reached, but makes it discouraging to go out and have only a few conversations.

Be praying for our outreach tonight. Also, I'm still in the job market, so prayers for that would also be awesome :).
